Chinese antique clobbered porcelain jar, 18th / 19th c #2251

Very nice antique Chinese underglazed blue porcelain jar. Later clobbered decoration applied in Europe in the 19th century. Interesting decorations of mystical animals (looks like mix of Dragon, Qilin and Lion) and also butterflies, dragon fly and birds.

Condition:

Checked with UV Light.  Great condition, No crack, no hairline. Some minor nicks to the footring and rim. Later clobbered decoration. General wear and manufacturing flaws.
