A very large charger decorated in famille rose with peonies in the center and a border with ruyi heads and bat-cartouches filled with bianco sopra bianco decoration. Very rare and unique piece.
Very fine potted thin porcelain. When held up against the light you can see the light going through. Its a miracle that such a fine porcelain can survive almost without any major condition issues.
Yongzheng period, first half of the 18th c, Qing Dynasty.
Measurements:
Diameter ca 42 cm
Condition: Checked with UV lamp. One star hairline which is only possible to see under UV Light, One star Glazeline on the backside not visible for the eye, you can only see with UV light. (not going through to the front side), Two nicks to the rim. General wear and manufacturing flaws.
