A Large Antique Chinese rose mandarin brushpot 19th Century Qing Dynasty

A very nice and large mandarin brush pot painted in rose mandarin decoration. The figure scenes are drawn in melon reserves.

Based on the decoration and the way the people are drawn I date this pot to about 1860-1870.

Condition:

Checked with UV light the pot have been professionally restored and retouched. The inside and bottom and base have been sprayed with white paint to cover the cracks on the inside and bottom and base. The decoration on the outside of the pot have been partly retouched to cover the cracks. Top rim have been retouched. Overall a very good restoration job and hard to spot with the eye. Look at the detailed pictures and judge.
