Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Rose Mandarin tureen, mid 19th century #1085

An very beautiful decorated mandarin rose tureen with cover. Mid 19th century.

Condition:

Checked with UV Light, the tureen and cover is in very nice condition, no cracks, no hairlines, no chips. General wear and manufacturing flaws. The cover does not entirely cover all of the unglazed rim of the bottom pot, however, based on the decoration, style of the handles we believe that the cover is originally made for the pot. Refer to the last two pictures for a tureen made in a similar way (example from the Guangzhou Museum) Please judge the pictures and make your own opinion!

Long: ca 30,5 cm - 12 Inch (including the handles)

Wide: ca 22,2 cm - 8,7 Inch

High: ca 12 cm -  4,7 Inch (including the lid)
