A very rare and huge porcelain handwash basin from the early 18th century, painted and decorated in Chinese Imari.

The basin have been been reglued and retouched with goldpaint to cover the cracks. A few of the nicks to the rim have been refilled and painted with gold. The imari decoration on the basin is all original and have not been altered or retouched.
